Marco Island Kayak Tour Map

Caxambas Park & Marina

This is the BEST place to rent a kayak. The area is surrounded by barrier islands and sand bars only accessible by kayak and paddle board. On every sand bar you can find sand dollars, conch shells, sea urchins and more. It's a shellers paradise! While you are kayaking from sand bar to sand bar and shelling, keep your eyes peeled for playful dolphins, manatees and stingrays. The best time to visit this park is at low tide as this allows the sand bars to be fully exposed. Even at high tide the sand bars will still be exposed, so don't worry. We recommend renting for 2-3 hours at the park. Directions - 909 Collier Ct.

Capri Paddlecraft Park

This park is loaded with mangrove tunnels! Once you hit the water you'll be kayaking through a beautiful estuary. The tunnels are only 15 minutes away from the launch. Once you're in the tunnels, keep you eyes peeled for mangrove tree crabs, raccoons and jumping mullet. In the open bay you may see dolphins and manatees. There are no sand bars or islands to get out of your kayak, so plan on being on the water. We recommend kayaking or paddleboarding here for 2 hours. It's very easy to get lost, so we recommend going on a kayak tour if you really want to experience the mangrove tunnels. Directions - 1295 Capri Blvd.
