Marco Island Kayak Tour Map

Caxambas Park & Marina

This is the BEST place to rent a kayak or paddleboard. The area is surrounded by barrier islands and sand bars only accessible by kayak and paddle board. These sand bars are loaded with sand dollars, conch shells, sea urchins and other incredible sea shells that you can't find on the regular beach. While you are kayaking from sand bar to sand bar and shelling, keep your eyes peeled for playful dolphins, manatees and stingrays. The best time to visit this park is at low tide as this allows the sand bars to be fully exposed for better shelling. We recommend renting for 2-3 hours at the park. Here are driving directions - Caxambas Park, 909 Collier Ct, Marco Island, FL 34145. UPDATE: This park has been closed by Collier County for construction due to Hurricane Ian. It won't re-open to commercial activity until 2025. You can still rent a kayak from us and bring it in, inside or on your vehicle and enter the park as a private recreational user. Or just kayak with us at the Paddlecraft Park instead (read below for info).

Capri Paddlecraft Park

This park is loaded with unmarked mangrove tunnels! These mangrove tunnels are only 15 minutes away from the kayak launch and don't worry, we provide you with a great map so you can follow the trails. Once you're in the tunnels, keep you eyes peeled for mangrove tree crabs, raccoons and jumping mullet. In the open bay you may see dolphins and manatees. There are no sand bars or islands to get out of your kayak, so plan on being on the water. We recommend kayaking or paddleboarding here for 2 hours. If you don't want to go at it alone, book our guided kayak tour. Here are driving directions - Capri Paddlecraft Park, 1295 Capri Blvd, Naples, FL 34113.
